Harvey is introducing a fact graph that lets disputes, litigation and investigations teams find and connect facts across millions of documents and keep one evolving record for a matter.
- The capability extracts facts from each document, links them back to the exact line of text, and connects events across the record even when related facts appear disconnected or sit years apart.
- It is the newest addition to Harvey Graph, the connected map of legal knowledge and matter context that Harvey's agents draw on to find information and cite it.
- As new documents arrive, the fact graph extracts new information, connects it to the existing record and flags inconsistencies, so new evidence can fill a gap or challenge an earlier account.
- Teams can carry those facts into chronologies, witness outlines, memos and reports, and Harvey keeps the context current and flags where prior work is outdated.
- Harvey says litigators make up a third of its customer base and often hit a cold start problem of rebuilding connections each time; the fact graph is a dedicated capability for these workflows, developed with design partners such as Slaughter and May.
