OpenAI said on Wednesday it is buying Pierre Computer Company, a three-year-old startup that builds software tools to help developers manage and review code.
- OpenAI's coding agent Codex already uses Pierre's open-source developer tools, including Code Storage, a service that allows developers to manage and review code.
- The acquisition is intended to bolster Codex, OpenAI's coding agent.
