ElevenLabs released SFX v3, a new sound effects model available in ElevenCreative and through ElevenAPI, which it says handles prompts describing multiple sounds more reliably than SFX v2.
- The company says the model generates music and vocals more convincingly and produces cleaner, more natural audio in benchmark testing.
- In ElevenCreative, users can create sound effects from a text prompt in Flows, the Sound Effects tab, Studio, and the Music Editor, and the model is also available in the ElevenLabs mobile app.
- ElevenLabs says SFX v3 is less likely to produce unwanted artifacts on sounds such as gongs, chimes, and whistles, preserving the character of the requested sound.
- Developers can access SFX v3 through ElevenAPI to bring sound effects generation into their own products and workflows.
