PointOne and Legora are partnering to record time spent working in Legora automatically in PointOne, attributed to the lawyer who did the work at their correct billable rate.
- The two companies say firms ask how much faster a first draft comes together with Legora, what happens to write-offs, and how much billed time is now spent in Legora, and that answering those questions starts with accurate time data.
- The integration is planned in three stages, beginning with automated time entry that records the client, the matter number and a description of the work, such as drafting a memorandum in support of a motion to dismiss an amended complaint.
- Legora will also develop a dashboard to help firms quantify the value they get from Legora, powered by PointOne's time data for mutual customers, and a second dashboard giving firms visibility into how lawyers spend time in Legora.
- Once released, the integration will be available only to firms that license both PointOne and Legora and authorize its use, and mutual customers can register their interest today with their PointOne or Legora account team.
- PointOne says it is trusted by more than 250 law firms across 4 continents, while Legora says it is used by more than 140,000 legal professionals at more than 2,000 law firms and in-house teams across over 80 markets.
