Am Law 200 firm adopts Legora after 100-lawyer pilot
Stoel Rives LLP, an Am Law 200 firm with roughly 350 attorneys in ten offices, has selected Legora as its firm-wide AI platform after a pilot that reached more than 100 lawyers.
- The firm says Legora's security posture and the precision of its legal research capabilities were the deciding factors, and it ran the platform through a formal security review before signing on.
- Litigation was among the most active areas of use: attorneys mapped case facts across large document sets, prepared early drafts of key filings, and sped up intake at the start of a new matter.
- The firm's library and knowledge management team used Legora's research capabilities directly, and pilot participants said its judgment stood out because it surfaced a smaller number of targeted, well-reasoned results rather than an exhaustive list.
- Legora says it is used by more than 140,000 legal professionals at more than 2,000 law firms and in-house teams across over 80 markets.
