Luma has made its creative intelligence and workflows available inside ChatGPT and Claude through a new MCP connector, aimed at in-house and agency creative teams under pressure to produce more ad variants.
- The company cites AppLovin data reported by Marketing Dive that advertisers who added new creative almost every week during last year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday saw a 23% higher median 7-day return on ad spend than those who refreshed only once or twice.
- Users can ask their assistant which of last week's ads performed best and then have Luma restyle the winning ad into new scenes, camera angles and lighting in the same conversation, with finished images and video returned in the chat.
- The connection also runs Luma's pre-set creative workflows, so one product photo becomes a set of finished, production-ready assets without a handoff between analysis and production.
- The listed workflows include Luma Agent, Product Shots, Camera Angles, Background swap, Relight Studio and short promo clips.
- Luma inside the assistant draws on the user's Luma credits, and the account is connected once.
- Luma MCP is now available for Claude and ChatGPT, with setup instructions at lumalabs.ai/mcp.
