Ideogram compared eight AI image generators by running the same two prompts — a perfume campaign photograph and a rooftop jazz festival poster — through seven of them and checking every output for wording, object placement, composition and visual detail.
- The eighth pick,
Midjourney, was assessed from its documented features rather than generated images, and the tests covered generation only, not follow-up edits, character consistency or other subjects.
- Ideogram says its own perfume images were its favorites for their photographic feel, and that all four of its perfume outputs spelled "AFTER RAIN" and "EAU DE PARFUM" correctly on the requested two lines.
- Its four jazz posters also carried the correct headline, subtitle and date, with the bassist on the left and the drummer on the right.
- The comparison lists free access and starting prices in US dollars for the US market, checked October 19, 2026, and warns that allowances differ and that an annual plan's monthly equivalent is not a monthly subscription.
- Ideogram notes that some other poster versions let the moon touch the headline or the saxophone cross the subtitle, and that spacing and fine surface details still needed a closer look.
