Ideogram compared three AI design tools for print-on-demand artwork by running one shared botanical book prompt through Ideogram, Kittl and
Recraft on free accounts.
- The test checked spelling, requested elements, background transparency, export dimensions and whether downloaded SVGs contained real vector shapes.
- Ideogram's Generate Vector output spelled both phrases correctly and produced vector paths with no embedded pixel-based image, but the checkerboard was included as artwork and the lettering was paths rather than live text.
- The SVG also contained gradient definitions even though the prompt asked for no gradients, so Ideogram says the file would need background shapes removed and its palette reviewed before production.
- Ideogram's Background Remover produced a 2048 × 2048 transparent PNG, but it did not clean the original SVG.
- Ideogram notes the test used one output per tool and did not order physical samples, so it does not establish an average success rate.
