From the source
Zapier's partnerships, marketing and sales teams are using Vercel and its v0 tool to build prototypes and internal applications that once took weeks of design and frontend work.
- The Powered by Zapier team now creates fully interactive, multi-view prototypes in under two hours, showing an embedded Zapier experience inside a partner's own product, where previously every prototype required screenshots, design time and frontend resources.
- A backend engineer on the team says she can produce a clickable prototype with more than 10 views in that time, a task she says was not possible before.
- In marketing, an employee with no prior deployment experience built Marketing Hive, a shared source for positioning, messaging and competitive intelligence, and deployed it behind Zapier's single sign-on so sensitive information could be shared internally.
- The first versions of three internal applications each took about a day, and in roughly two months a hackathon project grew into production software, including Marketing OS, which gives more than 60 marketers a daily Slack briefing.
- A separate team uses AI Gateway to send requests to AI models on behalf of Zapier customers.
