The UK Amazon Quick User Group held three quarterly meetups in 2026, drawing more than 150 attendees to hands-on sessions at Amazon's Shoreditch office in London.
- The group is a community of Amazon Quick users in the United Kingdom who meet to exchange knowledge, share best practices and work through use cases together.
- Attendees built custom chat agents without writing code, tried Amazon Quick Desktop on their own laptops with local files and an Outlook connector, and used Amazon Quick Apps to turn plain-language descriptions into working web applications.
- Workshops covered automating processes with Amazon Quick Flows and Amazon Quick Automate, while Amazon Quick Research was shown to cut down research time.
- The format changed each quarter: Q1 focused on introductions and demos, Q2 added an icebreaker quiz and a workshop on Quick Flows and automation, and Q3 brought a specialist panel, a group quiz and a closing networking slot.
- Customer stories included Arriva UK Trains, where Sofia Bourika's team built role-based dashboards with mobile-friendly views and scheduled email reports so train and station managers could see incidents and performance, and Carsa, where Tobi Daramola's team addressed inconsistent answers by building a single governed data layer with metrics defined once.
