Anthropic made Claude Models on
Google Cloud (Anthropic managed) generally available, giving Google Cloud customers the full Claude Platform feature set with Google Cloud IAM credentials, billing and commitment retirement.
- The offering is built for customers who want day zero access to all beta and generally available Claude Platform features, with new features and betas shipping the same day they go live on the native Claude Platform.
- Anthropic operates the service and acts as the data processor, while the existing Google managed offering remains for customers who need Google Cloud as the data processor, strict regional data residency, or native integrations like Model Armor and Agent Engine.
- The Anthropic managed offering is available with US and Global endpoints, and Claude Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 are available, with new models shipping as they launch.
- Fast Mode on Claude Opus 5.5 is also generally available, offering up to 2.5x faster output token generation, with input and output tokens at $8 and $40 per million.
- Customers also get the Claude Console for writing prompts, configuring and running agents, monitoring usage and costs, and managing access per workspace.
- Anthropic warns that existing discounts must be arranged with an Anthropic or Google Cloud account executive before starting, since discounts cannot be applied retroactively to usage.
