Replit’s Commitment to Trust, Safety, and Integrity

Replit described its moderation system, which relies on user reports and automated detection, and announced that it now automatically scans all uploaded images with machine learning to detect NSFW content such as nudity and sex, with flagged images reviewed by human moderators.

The company also published minor updates to its Terms of Service clarifying that nudity, sexually explicit content, and gambling content are not permitted, and highlighted extra safety features for school users, including a Firewalled Replit product that hides community features and restricts external internet access.
