Anthropic released Claude Haiku 5.5, described as its cheapest, fastest, and most capable small model, priced 90% lower than Haiku 4.5 for requests up to 100,000 tokens and 50% lower for longer requests.
The model includes an adjustable effort setting and is available on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and the Claude Platform.
Anthropic also halved the cache-read price for Claude Sonnet 5.5 and introduced monthly API credits for Max and Team subscribers.
