Tencent's WorkBuddy now lets users assemble a team of specialist AI agents to work on a single task, in the second instalment of its WorkBuddy series.
- The company says a general assistant approaches every task generically, so figures, wording and strategy can come out wrong.
- WorkBuddy ships with more than 100 built-in Experts, described as personas with targeted skills, a defined role, a way of working and matching tools, spanning finance, law, market research and copywriting.
- Users describe a task in a sentence and a team lead splits the work, with each expert running concurrently and sharing information.
- The experts return one unified draft rather than separate sets of notes, which the user reviews and decides what to accept.
- Tencent says the user stays in charge, and that the setup frees time for brainstorming and creative work.
