CVS Health is expanding its use of Harvey, the legal AI platform, across its Corporate Affairs functions after a successful pilot, giving legal, regulatory, policy, compliance and governance teams access to it.
- The in-house legal team will use Harvey to streamline document review, legal and regulatory research, drafting and knowledge retrieval, which CVS says should let lawyers spend more time on complex work that requires their judgment.
- CVS says early use cases showed opportunities to reduce manual effort, speed up turnaround times and improve access to institutional knowledge across functions.
- Sam Khichi, CVS Health's Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, and Chief Legal Officer, said the company is "combining Harvey AI's capabilities with trusted workflows" to increase efficiency and improve consistency.
- Harvey CEO Winston Weinberg said CVS Health had shown "a thoughtful and strategic approach to AI adoption."
- CVS says the deployment includes secure enterprise rollout and responsible AI governance, with oversight and compliance standards maintained.
