Uber is rolling out ChatGPT Work to more than 30,000 employees, expanding an agentic platform from an initial pilot of 1,000 people.
- The agent connects to tools Uber teams already use, including Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Slack, so workers can research information, prepare meeting briefs, create presentations, analyze data and complete workflows across applications.
- Uber says the expansion is its first company-wide deployment of an agentic platform tailored for knowledge work.
- ChatGPT Work also gives Uber access to
OpenAI's frontier models, with GPT-6.1 Sol deployed as the default capability, balancing frontier performance and cost efficiency, alongside multimodal capabilities such as voice and image generation.
- The rollout is supported by Uber's internal AI skills library, approved integrations and dedicated employee training for functions including operations, finance, marketing and product, while developers continue using Codex.
- The companies plan to share further insights into adoption, use cases and measurable outcomes as the rollout progresses.
