Hosting Apps with Always On

Always On keeps repls running after closing the browser tab.

Capability change

Replit announced that Always On repls are now available to all Hacker plan users, allowing up to 5 repls to stay running continuously.

Free plan users can access Always On using Cycles.

The feature keeps repls from sleeping when the browser tab is closed, enabling persistent apps like Discord bots and cron jobs.
