Anthropic is committing $150 million over three years to the Genesis Mission, a U.S. federal initiative to accelerate scientific discovery through AI.
The funding will make Claude available to over 15 agencies, including NASA, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation, and will provide Claude, Claude Code, API credits, training, and technical support to research projects.
Anthropic also plans to partner with agencies on priorities such as fusion energy and quantum computing.
