Claude adds editing in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Claude can now edit Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides directly.

Capability change

Anthropic's Claude now offers direct editing in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides through a new add-on and beta connectors.

The add-on places Claude in a sidebar where it can read and edit files, with controls for approving changes.

The feature is available in public beta across all paid Claude plans.
