Anthropic added a rule to Claude Code's system prompt that prohibits the AI from cloning existing games, after users used the tool to reverse-engineer and recreate titles like GTA 5 and Halo 2.
The rule states that Claude can create original games, genre-specific games, and games using user's own designs and materials, but should not recreate specific existing games even if renamed or called original.
