OpenRAIL: Towards open and responsible AI licensing frameworks
The OpenRAIL (Open & Responsible AI Licenses) framework, which is designed to enable open access and use of AI artifacts while embedding responsible use restrictions for critical scenarios. It argues that traditional open source licenses are not well-suited to ML models and proposes OpenRAIL as a new licensing paradigm.
