Meta Announces New Strategic Venture With BlackRock to Develop Data Center in El Paso

Meta and BlackRock announced a venture to finance, develop, and own a data center campus in El Paso, Texas, with 1 gigawatt of compute capacity.

Meta will retain 20% ownership and be the initial sole occupant, with the campus expected to begin coming online in 2028.
