Supabase released Supabase Queues, a Postgres-native durable message queue built on the pgmq extension by Tembo, for background task processing.
It offers guaranteed and exactly-once message delivery, granular authorization via Row-Level Security, and queue management in the Supabase Dashboard.
The feature runs entirely in the user's database with no additional costs.
