Supabase now allows developers to create, test, edit, and deploy Edge Functions directly from the Supabase Dashboard, removing the previous requirement to install the Supabase CLI and Docker.

The Dashboard editor includes syntax highlighting, type-checking, templates for common use cases, and an inline AI Assistant.

Additionally, Supabase added Deno 2.1 support for Edge Functions and introduced new APIs for deploying functions without Docker.
