Supabase added Broadcast from Database, a new Realtime feature that lets developers send database changes to clients using SQL triggers and functions.
It offers lower latency, selective column payloads, and the ability to target specific actions (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, TRUNCATE) compared to the existing Postgres Changes polling method.
