Remote MCP server with OAuth2 and new tools for AI agents
Supabase launched a remote MCP server supporting HTTP transport, OAuth2 authentication, and new tools including feature groups, doc search, and security/performance advisors.
The remote server allows web-based AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and Builder.io to connect to Supabase projects via a single URL, replacing the previous stdio-based setup that required Node.js and manual tokens.

Today we are launching our remote MCP server, allowing you to connect your Supabase projects with many more AI agents than before, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Builder.io. We also added support for MCP auth (OAuth2), a faster and more secure way to connect agents with your Supabase account (via browser-based authentication).
