Sign in with ChatGPT is rolling out in beta in two places: the supabase.com login page, and through the Supabase plugin in ChatGPT on desktop, web, and mobile.
If you build with ChatGPT Work or Codex, this removes the account friction between where you prompt and where your backend lives.
Create or link a Supabase account with the identity you already have, and connect it to ChatGPT in fewer steps.
That means less time on account setup and more time building.
Sign in to Supabase with ChatGPT # Similar to signing in with GitHub, you can now use ChatGPT to sign in to Supabase: choose ChatGPT on the login page, approve on the ChatGPT side, and you're in your Supabase Dashboard.
Signing in works whether or not you already use Supabase: If you're new to Supabase, signing in with ChatGPT creates your account, and you can manage it with that identity alone going forward.
If you already use Supabase and your ChatGPT account shares the same email, the two are linked automatically.
Nothing new is created: you sign in to the account you already have, and ChatGPT becomes another option alongside your existing sign-in methods.
