Supabase announced new tools at its Select event that let coding agents find production problems, test fixes, and report back, along with controls for agent access and permissions.
New features include raw log access via MCP, extended Advisor health checks, Notebooks for combining queries with markdown, and Pipelines for streaming Postgres data to analytical destinations.
Permissions enhancements include enterprise-managed auth for MCP, scoped personal access tokens, and MCP elicitations that require confirmation before paid actions or destructive SQL.
