Microsoft detailed the evolution of PyRIT (Python Risk Identification Tool) from a research prototype into a production-grade platform for red teaming generative AI systems.
The toolkit now offers four entry points: a graphical web interface (CoPyRIT), a scanner CLI, the underlying Python framework, and an agent test framework (RAMPART).
It supports repeatable, measurable testing across multimodal systems and integrates with CI/CD pipelines.
