Alibaba released Qwen3.8-LiveTranslate, an update to its real-time simultaneous interpretation system featuring an Interleave architecture that reduces average lagging from 2.8 seconds to 2.3 seconds while improving translation faithfulness, fluency, and conciseness.

The update adds real-time speaker separation with voice cloning, synchronized bilingual output on a single screen, and long-context disambiguation for more precise handling of names and terminology across 60 supported languages.
