Google's October update for Google Home improves Gemini voice commands, including more natural ways to end conversations and better handling of 'stop' commands.
Google says its October update for Google Home includes fixes for Gemini voice commands, such as more reliable 'stop' commands to prevent misinterpretations and easier-to-read answers on smart displays.
The update introduces more natural ways to end conversations with Gemini, such as saying 'thank you' to stop talking and close the microphone, according to 9to5Google.
Other Gemini fixes include better differentiation between relaxing music and ambient sounds, and consistent temperature units for weather based on the user's Home settings, 9to5Google reports.
The Google Home app also gets redesigned controls for lights, plugs, and switches, along with camera fixes and usability improvements, Android Authority reports.
