TestingCatalogReported plansAIPOCH Open-Science released a new open-source desktop app that lets AI agents handle research tasks, from reading papers to analyzing data in Python and R.The company built the app to lower the barrier to research, letting anyone with curiosity and a research idea get involved. By saving the code, inputs, and steps that produced each artifact, it lets others rerun and analyze published papers.> Researchers can use models from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and others, as well as local models.> Projects can be exported as .science save files that can be opened on another computer and continued from.> By default, the app keeps files, projects, and research records locally on the researcher's computer.> The app can be installed on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and its source code is licensed under Apache 2.0.A .science file saves the whole session into a single transferable file. In one of AIPOCH's shared examples, the agents examined public data on 278 breast cancer patients and tested whether immune cell arrangement in a tumor helps predict survival. Anyone can open that file in the app, read the code behind each figure, and fork it into a new run.Browse the gallery 👀 https://t.co/nyn8nyBfCdYour browser cannot play this video.
