Official summary
The European interoperability framework helps EU public administrations to work together by providing clear guidance on how digital services should connect across borders and sectors. Last updated in 2017, it needs to be updated to align with new legislation, technologies and growing digital needs. With the new priorities on technological sovereignty, competitiveness and the use of AI to improve the delivery of public services, this revision aims to update the framework and support the implementation of the Interoperable Europe Act.
