What 1,000 small business owners taught us about AI
Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business, a Claude Cowork plugin integrated with QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, and other small business tools, and released an AI Fluency for Small Businesses course created with PayPal.
The company ran free half-day workshops in ten U.S. cities, reaching over 1,000 small business owners and operators, and shared lessons learned about how non-technical entrepreneurs are using AI to automate operational tasks.

So in May we launched Claude for Small Business : a Claude Cowork plugin, built alongside QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, and more popular small business tools, that connects Claude to the tools owners already use and does the back-office work that eats up their evenings. We also released our new AI Fluency for Small Businesses course created with PayPal, focused on the workflows, tools, and broader needs of small business owners.
