IBM released the Granite Time Series PatchTST-FM-r2 model, a ~385M-parameter time-series foundation model with an updated conformer-based architecture, probabilistic forecasting, and support for missing-value imputation.

The model is dual-licensed under Apache 2.0 and OpenMDW 1.0 and ranks second among replicable zero-shot models on the GIFT-Eval leaderboard as of September 8, 2026.
