Microsoft released MAI-Image-2-Efficient, a variant of its MAI-Image-2 text-to-image model that is 22% faster, 4x more efficient, and priced nearly 41% lower at $5 per 1M text input tokens and $19.50 per 1M image output tokens.
The model is available now in Microsoft Foundry and MAI Playground, with rollout across Copilot and Bing underway.
