Microsoft AI launched MAI-Voice-2, a text-to-speech model supporting 15 languages with emotion control, zero-shot voice prompting, and consent guardrails. It is available in Microsoft Foundry and integrated into VSCode and Dynamics 365 Contact Center. The model is preferred over its predecessor 72% of the time.
