The winners of the LG Awards 2025 ━ How AI Became the Driving Force of Industrial Innovation

LG AI Research's NCC Operations Optimization AI Scheduler Development Project won the Customer Satisfaction Award at the 2025 LG Awards. The project developed an AI-based scheduler for LG Chem's Daesan NCC production plant, achieving over 3% performance improvement over human level and increasing marginal profit by more than KRW 10 billion per year at that plant alone.
