LG AI Research Unveils K-EXAONE 2.0, Korea's Largest 750-Billion-Parameter AI Foundation Model

LG AI Research released K-EXAONE 2.0, a 750-billion-parameter open-source foundation model, on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0 license. The model surpasses the previous 236B model in scale and performance across benchmarks, including long-context understanding, agentic capabilities, and multilingual support. It also achieved high safety scores. Additionally, the institute introduced the EXAONE 4.5 vision-language model and is expanding into various sectors.
