ERNIE-5.1-Preview Tops LMArena Text Leaderboard as No.1 Chinese Model!
Baidu announced that ERNIE-5.1-Preview topped the LMArena Text leaderboard as the No. 1 Chinese model and achieved high rankings in several category leaderboards. The model compresses parameters compared to ERNIE-5.0 using a decoupled fully-asynchronous reinforcement learning and scaled agentic post-training approach, resulting in improved foundational capabilities and cost-effectiveness at a reduced pre-training cost.
