How Decathlon runs demand forecasting at scale with Chronos-2

Decathlon, a major sporting goods retailer, selected Chronos-2 as a core component of its forecasting stack after evaluating multiple time series foundation models. In benchmarks on Decathlon's own retail data, fine-tuned Chronos-2 consistently outperformed all other evaluated models across both 12-week and 52-week horizons, while even zero-shot Chronos-2 matched or surpassed the existing production baseline. Chronos-2 also met efficiency requirements, running inference for 25,000 products in under 2 minutes per cutoff.
