GitHub announces upcoming changes to Copilot policies and billing: billing changes for Copilot Business/Enterprise starting September/October 2026, convergence of Copilot Chat experiences into a single unified experience no earlier than September 28, 2026, and change of default review effort level for Copilot code review from Lite to Balanced starting September 28, 2026.
