Introducing Custom Agents

Google Antigravity announces Custom Agents, a new feature for Antigravity 2.0 and the CLI that allows users to create specialized, file-based agent configurations with scoped instructions, tools, and constraints. Custom agents can be used as main agents or subagents, and are stored in Markdown files with YAML frontmatter for team sharing and progressive discovery. The announcement highlights differences from other tools, such as execution symmetry allowing custom agents to be selected directly from the GUI or CLI, and integration with existing customization points like skills, MCP servers, and hooks.
