Introducing India cross-Region inference for OpenAI GPT-5.6 models on Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Bedrock now supports OpenAI GPT-5.6 models (Terra and Luna) in India with India geographic cross-Region inference, enabling data residency within India. The models offer a 1-million-token context window and accept text and image input. Cross-Region inference routes requests only within India across the Mumbai and Hyderabad Regions to meet data residency requirements.
