Introducing Claude Opus 5

Anthropic announces Claude Opus 5, a new model that is available today. It approaches the frontier intelligence of Claude Fable 5 at half the price, achieves state-of-the-art results on coding and knowledge work benchmarks like Frontier-Bench and GDPval-AA, and provides improved performance over its predecessor Opus 4.8 at the same cost.
