Harvey says its legal AI platform is now FedRAMP Class D certified, letting U.S. federal agencies, federal contractors and partners, international governments, and commercial entities with the highest security requirements use it for legal work.
- The company said the certification, announced on October 28, 2026, covers procurement and contracting, initial document reviews, and cross-agency collaboration, and is meant to cut the time attorneys spend on routine tasks.
- Harvey operates inside Knox Systems' FedRAMP Class D certified cloud environment, and the FedRAMP Marketplace listing for the Knox Systems FedRAMP High Managed Platform, Package ID FR2528033654, includes Harvey AI in its certified services section.
- That listing shows the Knox platform as FedRAMP Certified as of March 30, 2026, in the Ongoing Certification phase, with a Type Rev5, Path Agency, Class D (High) profile and two authorizations.
- The marketplace describes Harvey for Government as a SaaS service on a Government Community Cloud that lets agency attorneys work through legal questions, review documents, draft memos, briefs and correspondence, run multi-step workflows, and collaborate in shared workspaces with cited sources.
- Harvey said the certification builds on an existing posture that includes SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, AIUC-1, IRAP, TX-RAMP Level 2, GDPR and CCPA, and that it contractually guarantees customer inputs, outputs and uploaded documents are not used to train underlying models.
