Amp is now an agent inside Linear, so assigning an issue to it starts a new Agent Session and spawns a new orb.
- Teams can also mention @Amp to kick off a session, and Amp replies to messages sent along the way in the same session.
- The Agent Session appears in the Amp sidebar and is fully viewable in Amp, letting users follow progress in Linear and then open the same conversation in Amp.
- Getting started requires installing the Amp agent in a Linear workspace and connecting an Amp account to the Linear MCP in Settings → MCP & Integrations.
