Speed and quality usually trade off.
ChatGPT Images 2.5 skips that negotiation.
It delivers higher-quality image generation and editing than its predecessor GTP model at 50% lower latency, which means faster iteration without accepting worse output as the cost of moving quickly.
The improvements show up in the details: natural lighting that doesn't flatten, texture that holds up at close range, and localized edits that stay contained rather than drifting into surrounding areas.
Reference-subject preservation is tighter, and consistency across iterative edits is more reliable.
It handles complex layouts and transparent backgrounds without the workarounds those formats usually require.
It's built for the kind of work where volume and quality both matter: creator content, product visuals, visual search, rapid prototyping, and high-volume generation pipelines where outputs need to stay consistent across the run.
ChatGPT Images 2.5 sits in Recraft Studio next to the full editing suite.
Generate, edit, and iterate without leaving Studio for another platform.
