Together AI partners with Pearl Research Labs to offer a discounted inference endpoint for the Gemma-4-31B-it-pearl model, using Pearl's blockchain protocol to offset costs via crypto emissions.
The endpoint is discounted by over 25%, offset by the future value of crypto emissions, with the expectation that further price reductions may follow as the coin value increases.
This is the first product integrating the Pearl Network, which uses Proof of Useful Work to simultaneously generate cryptocurrency while performing AI inference.
The partnership aims to reduce inference costs by leveraging the economic throughput of GPUs to produce a digital asset at no additional cost.
Together AI plans to expand its Pearl-powered product portfolio and offer customers a direct portion of the currency emissions in the future.
