Python on Vercel is now generally available

Vercel makes Python runtime generally available with SDKs and framework detection.

Availability change

Vercel announced the general availability of Python on its platform, enabling developers to build and run Python applications with automatic framework detection (FastAPI, Flask, Django, FastHTML), Fluid compute for scaling, and idiomatic Python SDKs for storage, queues, workflows, code execution, AI, and external API credentials.

The release includes a shared workflow for full-stack projects combining Python backends with JavaScript frontends, and Vercel Daemons for long-running workers.
